PEACE House Meetings Scheduled


PEACE (People Engaged in Active Community Efforts) is starting the new year. 1stUUPB will have two house meetings Wednesday, Sep 13 at 7pm and Thursday Sep 14 at 7pm, both in the Channing Room. The team will be calling and inviting  members and friends. All are invited. If you wish to come, let one of the team members know.
PEACE is a justice ministry organization made up of 20 different congregations from throughout Palm Beach County. Recognizing that to do justice requires power, we come together in large numbers of people to hold our political and economic systems accountable around serious community problems.

I’m hoping everyone has been saving up their shopping bags for me.  I am desperately low at this time.  I would be delighted to rid you of your bags any and all Sundays, and maybe Barbara wouldn’t mind storing them for me if you come in to the office to drop them off during the week.  Thanks a bunch.    Janet Fryman

Join us in the fight against systemic racism in our schools, courts, police departments, city councils and corporations!
At this meeting we will be talking about what we can do now to help restore the right to vote for hundreds of thousands of black Floridians. We will also discuss the campaign to repeal the racist Stand Your Ground Law.
